This month we were lucky enough for one of our Senior Nursery Nurses, a very talented partner, to make us our very own ‘Banana Moon Mud Kitchen’ for our beautiful outside area. All the children benefit from this new area created in our garden. The babies love getting muddy and the pre-schoolers love creating mud pies and experimenting with different outdoor ingredients. The benefits of allowing children to explore and play via a mud kitchen is that they develop in sensory play, role play, imaginative play, maths and hands-on exploration and investigation.
